Leaders to Honor 12 Women Achievers with Kamaraj Awards on Gandhi Jayanti.

On October 2, 2023, the We The Leaders initiative led by Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai will honor 12 outstanding women achievers at the Kamaraj Awards ceremony. The event is scheduled to coincide with Gandhi Jayanti, a day commemorating the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, who advocated for equality and empowerment.

The Kamaraj Awards will recognize women from diverse fields, highlighting their contributions and achievements in society. This ceremony aims to celebrate female empowerment and encourage greater participation of women in various sectors.

Notable figures from politics, business, and social activism are expected to be present at the event, which reflects ongoing efforts to promote gender equality in India. As part of the larger We The Leaders campaign, the initiative seeks to uplift and inspire future generations of women leaders.

The Kamaraj Awards serve as a tribute to former Chief Minister Kamarajars legacy, celebrated for his commitment to education and social development in Tamil Nadu. By honoring women who have made significant strides in their respective fields, the awards emphasize the importance of recognizing and supporting womens contributions to society.
