UAE is emerging as Global Leader in Agentic AI

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been recognized as a global leader in the development and implementation of Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI), according to a recent report. This distinction highlights the UAEs commitment to advancing technology and innovation within the realm of artificial intelligence.

Agentic AI refers to systems that have the capacity to take autonomous actions and make decisions based on their learned experiences and data, representing a significant leap from traditional AI systems that rely heavily on human intervention. The recognition stems from the UAEs strategic initiatives, including investments in AI infrastructure, support for research and development, and the establishment of regulations that encourage responsible AI usage.

Furthermore, the UAE government has initiated various programs aimed at integrating AI across different sectors, including healthcare, education, transport, and finance, demonstrating its potential to enhance services and boost the economy. Notably, the UAEs National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence, launched in 2017, aims to position the country as a leader in AI by 2031.

The acknowledgement as a global leader in Agentic AI places the UAE at the forefront of a rapidly evolving technological landscape and underscores its role as a hub for innovation in the region and beyond.
