Environment Ministry Approves Formation of 10-Member Expert Committee to Define Aravalli Hills
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court, expressing support for the proposed members of a high-powered expert committee. The committee will include both current and retired bureaucrats with backgrounds in the Forest Survey of India (FSI), Geological Survey of India (GSI), and Survey of India, as well as academic professionals.
