Special Buses from Chennai Announced for Weekend and Muhurtham Rush

The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced the operation of special bus services from Chennai to accommodate the increased travel demand over the upcoming weekend and during the Muhurtham season. This initiative aims to facilitate smoother transportation for passengers who are likely to travel for various events and celebrations during this period.

Starting from Friday, the TNSTC will deploy additional buses to key destinations, ensuring that travelers have access to reliable transport options. The special services will run for three consecutive days, catering to the needs of those attending weddings, family gatherings, and other significant events that are traditionally held during this auspicious time.

Passengers can expect enhanced frequency on popular routes, which will help reduce waiting times and provide a more comfortable travel experience. The TNSTC has advised travelers to plan their journeys in advance and to arrive at bus stations early to secure their seats, as the demand for tickets is expected to be high.

In addition to the increased number of buses, the TNSTC is also implementing safety measures to ensure the well-being of passengers. This includes regular sanitization of buses and adherence to health protocols, which remain crucial in light of ongoing health concerns.

Travelers are encouraged to check the TNSTC website or contact their customer service for detailed information on routes, schedules, and ticket availability. With these special services in place, the TNSTC aims to make travel more convenient and enjoyable for everyone during this busy season.

As the weekend approaches, the TNSTCs initiative reflects its commitment to meeting the transportation needs of the public, especially during significant cultural and religious occasions. This move is expected to ease congestion and provide a reliable means of transport for those celebrating the Muhurtham festivities.
