Shia Community in Madhya Pradesh Cancels Eid Celebrations Following Death of Khamenei During Iran-Iraq War
Approximately 4,000 Shia families reside in Madhya Pradesh. In light of the recent passing of Khamenei, the All India Shia Samaj State President announced that the community will refrain from wearing new clothes or celebrating Eid this year. Instead, they will focus on offering prayers (namaz) during this solemn time.
