Kerala Government Raises Non-Domestic LPG Allocation to 66% of Total Demand
**LPG Supply Distribution Adjustments Announced**
In an effort to manage LPG resources effectively, authorities have outlined the latest distribution strategy for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) across various sectors. Essential services, which include healthcare, emergency services, and food production, will continue to receive a full supply of LPG to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Meanwhile, semi-essential sectors, such as hospitality and retail, are set to receive 63% of their requested LPG demand. This adjustment aims to balance supply amidst ongoing resource challenges while maintaining essential operations across the economy.
For industrial-based services, which are vital for numerous manufacturing processes, the allocation has been set at 62% of their total demand. However, this supply comes with specific conditions designed to prioritize critical operations and adjust usage to conserve resources during peak demand periods.
These measures reflect an ongoing effort by the authorities to ensure a fair distribution of LPG while addressing current supply constraints. Stakeholders in all sectors are encouraged to plan accordingly and implement energy-saving practices where feasible.
