Supreme Court Requests NGO to Present Bhopal Gas Tragedy Residual Ash Issues to High Court

According to a report by a victims rights non-governmental organization, a 2015 report from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) indicated that 337 metric tons of toxic waste contained high concentrations of mercury. However, a subsequent report from 2025 reportedly found no traces of mercury in the residual ash from the incinerated waste, leading to questions regarding the findings.
