Kerala Assembly Elections 2026: BJP Focuses on UDF MLA Controversy in Palakkad

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced that Sobha Surendran will represent the party in the upcoming elections. Surendran previously contributed to the BJP’s rise to the second position in the constituency in 2016, and the party aims to secure the seat from the United Democratic Front (UDF). Meanwhile, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) has consistently finished in third place in this constituency during the last three elections. As of now, neither the UDF nor the LDF has disclosed their candidates for this segment.
