Karnataka SC/ST Commission Engages in Discussions Regarding Internal Reservation Issues
In response to the ongoing confusion regarding internal reservation policies among Scheduled Castes, as well as the decision to reduce the overall reservation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes from 56% to 50% for the recruitment of 56,432 positions, the Karnataka State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes convened discussions with senior officials, former Karnataka Public Service Commission members, and representatives from the community.
