Andhra Pradesh Banana Farmers Seek Government Assistance Amidst Export Disruptions Due to Gulf Conflict

The Andhra Pradesh Rythu Sangham has reported a significant decline in prices for agricultural commodities, which have decreased from ₹22,000-₹25,000 per tonne to approximately ₹5,000 per tonne. This sharp drop has caused distress among farmers. The organization has submitted a representation to Agriculture Minister Atchannaidu, urging for immediate government intervention.
