**Transport Minister Reports on Increased Bus Inspections**

In a recent update, the Transport Minister announced that a total of 976 buses have been inspected as part of a comprehensive safety operation. During these inspections, 193 buses were found to be in violation of safety regulations and subsequently booked for necessary corrective actions.

The inspections were carried out at 16 designated points across the region, with a strong emphasis on adherence to safety standards. The Minister reiterated the governments commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards violations that jeopardize public safety.
