BJP to Focus on Modis Leadership in Bengal Election Campaign, Says Samik Prakash

The president of the West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samik Bhattacharya, emphasized the party’s strategy for the upcoming elections, highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “vikas purush” or “man of development.” Bhattacharya stated that Modis leadership has garnered trust among voters across the country, from Kashmir in the north to Kanyakumari in the south. The state BJP plans to campaign by focusing on public confidence in the Prime Ministers vision for national development and progress.

In recent years, the BJP has positioned itself as a party committed to infrastructure development, economic growth, and social welfare initiatives. Under Modis tenure since 2014, various policies have been implemented, such as the “Make in India” initiative, the “Digital India” campaign, and significant infrastructure projects aimed at boosting the economy. As elections approach, the BJP is expected to leverage these accomplishments to rally support among constituents in West Bengal and beyond.
