Botlaguduru, Andhra Pradesh Reports Temperature of 43.4 Degrees Celsius

On April 7, 2023, a total of 155 mandals in Andhra Pradesh experienced temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. This significant rise in temperature can be attributed to a combination of factors, including seasonal climate patterns and regional weather conditions.

The Indian Meteorological Department has reported that such high temperatures are not uncommon during the pre-monsoon period, particularly in the coastal and interior regions of Andhra Pradesh. Residents and local authorities have been urged to take precautions against heat-related illnesses, especially vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and those with pre-existing health conditions.

Heat waves are expected to continue as the state moves further into the summer months, with meteorological forecasts indicating that temperatures may rise even higher. State officials have implemented measures to provide relief, including setting up temporary shelters and ensuring availability of drinking water in affected areas.

Additionally, the government encourages the public to stay informed on weather updates and to adopt practices to mitigate heat exposure, such as staying indoors during peak hours and hydrating adequately.
