Cabinet Advances Initiatives in Agriculture, Health, and Education Sectors

The recent assembly session has approved several significant measures aimed at enhancing government efficiency and services. Among these actions, 58 Deputy Executive Engineers have been promoted to the position of Executive Engineers to expedite ongoing irrigation projects, addressing delays that have been affecting agricultural productivity in the region.

Additionally, the government has taken steps to establish a Disease Monitoring and Decision-Making Centre. This initiative is expected to enhance the state’s capacity to respond to public health challenges by providing timely data and analysis on disease trends, which can assist in effective decision-making for health interventions.

Furthermore, an Ordinance has been cleared to amend the Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Regulatory and Monitoring Commission Act. This amendment aims to strengthen the regulatory framework governing higher education institutions in the state, ensuring better quality control and improved educational standards.

These developments underscore the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure, public health, and educational quality in Andhra Pradesh.
