Farmers Benefit from ₹25,000 Paddy Bonus, Reports Bhatti

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti reports that the state government has allocated ₹57,000 crore in interest-free loans specifically aimed at empowering women. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance economic opportunities and support gender equality.

In his remarks, Bhatti criticized the previous administration for its failure to fulfill significant promises made during its tenure, which lasted a decade. He highlighted unmet commitments such as the provision of double-bedroom houses, the assurance of one job per household, the appointment of a Dalit Chief Minister, and the distribution of land to landless individuals.

The current government aims to rectify these issues by implementing programs that prioritize the welfare of marginalized communities and promote womens financial independence. This move aligns with the government’s focus on social equity and inclusive growth, addressing longstanding challenges in the state.
