Farmers Benefit from ₹25,000 Paddy Bonus, Says Bhatti
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti announced the provision of ₹57,000 crore in interest-free loans aimed at supporting womens empowerment and entrepreneurship across the state. He emphasized that the previous administration had not fulfilled significant pledges made during its tenure, such as the construction of double-bedroom houses, assurance of one job per household, appointing a Dalit Chief Minister, and implementing land distribution policies for the landless poor.
Bhatti’s comments come in the context of ongoing discussions about the governments commitment to social welfare and economic growth measures. He highlighted that these financial initiatives for women are part of the current governments broader strategy to enhance economic opportunities and reduce poverty. The Deputy Chief Minister called for a renewed focus on fulfilling promises to marginalized communities to ensure inclusive development.
This announcement is part of a wider evaluation of the previous government’s performance and a roadmap for addressing the needs of various demographics, particularly women and economically disadvantaged groups in the state.
