Five IAS Officers Transferred in Administrative Reshuffle

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the appointment of V. Vijay Rama Raju, the current Director of School Education, as the new Commissioner for the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).

In his new role, Vijay Rama Raju will oversee urban planning and development initiatives for the state’s capital region, Amaravati. The CRDA was established in 2014 to facilitate the planning and development of the new capital city following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Rajus experience in educational administration is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the ongoing development projects in the region.

His appointment reflects the governments ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative capabilities in key sectors as the state continues to develop its infrastructure and services. Details about his transition and the responsibilities he will undertake in his new position are yet to be announced.
