ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan Highlights Learning Opportunities from PSLV Setbacks
Mr. Narayanan officially inaugurated the 11th biennial conference of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Pensioners’ Association on Tuesday, March 24. The conference aims to address various issues concerning ISROs pensioners, promote networking among retired employees, and discuss the organizations contributions to Indias space endeavors.
This event gathers former ISRO employees who have played crucial roles in Indias space missions, including satellite launches and research in space science. The biennial conference serves as a platform for sharing experiences, challenges, and suggestions to enhance the welfare of pensioners. The ISRO Pensioners Association, founded in 2005, works to ensure that the needs and rights of retirees from the organization are represented, while also celebrating their long-standing contributions to Indias advancements in space technology.
