Karnataka SC/ST Commission Engages in Deliberations on Internal Reservation Issues
The Karnataka State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes conducted discussions with senior officials, former Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) members, and community representatives concerning the internal reservation among Scheduled Castes. This meeting follows the decision to lower the overall reservation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes from 56% to 50% for the recruitment of 56,432 positions.
