Kerala Assembly Elections 2026: 244,000 Voters Identify as Persons with Disabilities

In the recent electoral update, the total number of voters with disabilities (PwD) stands at 244,927, accounting for 0.9% of the overall electorate. This demographic includes 137,512 men, 107,410 women, and five individuals identifying as transgender. This data highlights the importance of inclusivity in the voting process, reflecting efforts to ensure that all segments of the population have the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
