**Enhanced Security Measures Implemented for Upcoming Elections**

In preparation for the upcoming elections, enhanced security measures have been established to facilitate a smooth voting process. A total of 71 candidates from three major political alliances—the Left Democratic Front (LDF), the United Democratic Front (UDF), and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)—are competing for voter support.

The election will see a significant increase in the number of polling stations, with 2,531 locations set up for this years election, compared to 2,112 in the 2021 election. This expansion aims to accommodate the growing electorate and ensure accessibility for all voters.
