Leading Hotels Advocate for Additional Reforms to Enhance Tourism in Andhra Pradesh

A delegation from the Andhra Pradesh Star Hotels’ Association recently met with the Principal Secretary of the Revenue (Excise) Department to express their gratitude towards the government for enacting reforms based on their earlier recommendations.

The reforms, aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing the overall hospitality sector in the state, include changes to regulatory frameworks and licensing processes that are intended to foster growth and improve service standards within the industry.

During the meeting, members of the association highlighted the positive impact these reforms are expected to have on tourism and the local economy, particularly in boosting employment opportunities and encouraging investment in the hospitality sector.

The Andhra Pradesh Star Hotels’ Association has been actively engaged in dialogues with government officials to advocate for changes that reflect the needs of the industry, and this meeting marks a significant step in continuing that collaborative effort. Ongoing discussions are anticipated to address further issues and ensure that the hotel industry can thrive in an evolving market.
