Naval Warships Provide Escort to Indian Vessels in the Gulf of Oman
Three Indian warships—Shivalik, Nanda Devi, and Jag Laadki—are currently providing maritime security for Indian merchant vessels in the Gulf region. This operation, known as Operation Sankalp, is designed to protect India’s maritime interests and ensure the safety of shipping in the area. The naval escort for Indian ships will continue as part of this mission.
