Portion of NH 169 near Yedapadavu Reopens to Traffic Following Month-Long Closure
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has successfully completed the construction of one of the two carriageways for the Yedapadavu bypass. This new infrastructure is expected to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area.
The Yedapadavu bypass is a significant development aimed at improving connectivity in the region, particularly along National Highway 66. The bypass is anticipated to benefit local commuters and commercial transport, thereby contributing to economic growth.
Authorities have indicated that the second carriageway is also under development, with timelines for completion expected to further streamline traffic management. The overall project forms part of a broader initiative to upgrade and modernize Indias highway network, supporting the countrys growing transportation needs.
