“Rajeev Chandrasekhar Discusses Benefits of a Double-Engine Government in Mitigating Political Conflicts Impacting Development”
Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar has expressed concerns that persistent hostility between state governments and the central government could negatively impact citizens. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the two levels of governance for the betterment of the public. Chandrasekhar also commented on the BJPs outlook for the upcoming 2025 local body elections in Kerala, predicting a significant improvement in the partys performance.
Additionally, he criticized what he described as misleading narratives surrounding the BJPs engagement with minority communities, asserting that these narratives are unfounded and do not reflect the partys actual outreach efforts. The BJP has been actively working to enhance its presence in Kerala, where it faces stiff competition from established parties like the Indian National Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist), particularly in a politically diverse landscape.
