RRS Chief Advises Against Increasing Almatti Dam Height in Karnataka
Dr. Kuncham Venkatasubba Reddy, President of the RRS, has sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to communicate concerns regarding the proposed increase in the height of the Almatti dam. He has also informed D.K. Shiva Kumar, the Minister of Water Resources for Karnataka, about the potential issues that farmers in the three affected states may encounter if the dam height is raised.
