Second Edition of IOS SAGAR Aims to Enhance Maritime Cooperation in Indian Ocean Region

The Indian Navy has introduced the innovative operational engagement program known as IOS SAGAR, aimed at enhancing collaborative maritime operations. This initiative allows naval personnel from allied nations to train alongside Indian sailors while aboard Indian Navy ships.

The IOS SAGAR program not only fosters interoperability between different naval forces but also aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and enhance mutual understanding of maritime security challenges.
