An outbreak of the Herpes Simplex Virus has affected approximately 92 inmates between August 20, 2025, and March 9, 2026, resulting in the unfortunate deaths of seven individuals. The correctional facility, designed to accommodate 700 inmates, currently houses over 1,200 individuals.
