Approximately 4,000 Shia families reside in Madhya Pradesh. In light of the recent passing of Khamenei, the All India Shia Samaj State President announced that they will refrain from wearing new clothes or celebrating Eid this year, choosing instead to focus on offering prayers (namaz).
