Toll Rates at 66 Plazas in Tamil Nadu Set to Change Starting April 1

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced an increase in the annual fee for the Fastag pass, raising it from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075.

Fastag is an electronic toll collection system that allows for seamless transportation on national highways by enabling automatic toll deductions without the need for physical cash transactions. This move is part of the NHAIs efforts to enhance toll collection efficiency and promote digital payment methods.

The revised fee will contribute to the maintenance and development of national highways and infrastructure, improving overall travel experiences for commuters. The change in pricing is effective immediately, and users are encouraged to renew their Fastag passes accordingly.
