Two Additional Indian Vessels Navigate the Strait of Hormuz
Two foreign-owned and foreign-flagged liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers, named Hellas Gladiator and Gas Jupiter, are scheduled to arrive at the Port of Visakhapatnam on March 30, 2026. Each vessel is carrying a cargo load of approximately 24,000 tonnes of LPG.
Visakhapatnam, located on the southeast coast of India, serves as a key port for the importation of various goods, including energy resources like LPG, which is essential for domestic cooking and industrial applications. This delivery is part of ongoing efforts to meet the increasing demand for energy in the region. The arrival of these carriers is expected to bolster local supply and support infrastructure development aimed at improving energy accessibility.
The actual docking arrangements and further processing of the cargo will be managed in compliance with port regulations and international shipping laws.
