UP Chief Minister Assesses Preparations for Prime Minister Modis Inauguration of Noida Airport on March 28

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a review meeting to assess the preparations for the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, scheduled for March 28, 2023, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to attend the ceremony.

During the review, Adityanath focused on ensuring that infrastructure and logistical arrangements meet the required standards for the significant event. The Noida International Airport, once operational, is anticipated to enhance connectivity and boost economic development for the region, serving as a major hub for travelers in the northern part of India.

The airport project is being developed by the Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd. and is expected to be one of India’s largest airports in terms of passenger capacity. Once completed, the airport is projected to handle around 12 million passengers annually, with plans for expansions in the future to accommodate even more travelers.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the Indian government to improve air traffic infrastructure, promote tourism, and stimulate local economies across the country.
