Veterinary College in Tirunelveli Successfully Performs Surgery on Six-Foot Python
A six-foot-long snake, with an approximate weight of 4 kilograms, has been brought in for treatment by Balasubramanian, the forest ranger of Moolakal. He was assisted in this effort by the Karu Animal Rescue Unit Trust based in Veeravanallur.
The snakes species and health condition have not been disclosed; however, it plays a critical role in the local ecosystem, contributing to biodiversity and helping to control the population of rodents and other small animals. The rescue unit is known for its commitment to rehabilitating wildlife and ensuring their safe return to their natural habitats.
