During the valedictory session of a two-day roundtable event, Sundarapu Vijay Sreekumar emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among various departments to enhance the quality of education for children with special needs.

Sreekumar highlighted the necessity for an integrated approach that combines resources and expertise from educational, healthcare, and social services sectors. He pointed out that ensuring equitable access to quality education for children with disabilities is not just a responsibility of the education sector, but requires the commitment of all stakeholders involved, including policymakers, educators, and community organizations.

The roundtable featured discussions on best practices, innovative teaching methods, and the importance of inclusive education. Participants included educators, disability advocates, and government representatives, who shared successful initiatives and strategies for supporting children with special needs. By fostering open communication and shared objectives, Sreekumar believes that significant improvements can be made in educational outcomes for these children.

Such coordinated approaches align with ongoing global efforts to promote inclusive education as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all by the year 2030.
