22 Ships Destined for India Included in Hormuz Evacuation Plan
In a recent assessment, 20 vessels have been identified as critical to Indias energy security. These vessels are transporting significant quantities of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), totaling over 500,000 tonnes, as well as approximately 1.676 million tonnes of crude oil. To facilitate the timely evacuation of these vital energy supplies, various governmental and maritime agencies are collaborating efforts. This strategic move comes amid increasing global energy demands and aims to ensure that India maintains a stable energy supply for its economic needs. The coordinated evacuation efforts are expected to enhance the nations resilience against potential disruptions in energy imports.
