Coastal Districts Experience Rain Relief as Rayalaseema Faces High Temperatures

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that thunderstorms are expected to continue until April 11, as coastal Andhra Pradesh experiences significant rainfall. In contrast, temperatures in the Rayalaseema region remain elevated, contributing to a varied climatic pattern across the state.

The IMD has noted that the thunderstorms could lead to isolated heavy rainfall in certain areas, along with the possibility of gusty winds. These weather conditions are attributed to a combination of factors, including the prevailing weather systems over the Bay of Bengal and the influence of the southwest monsoon.

Coastal regions have reported intermittent showers, which may bring much-needed relief from the rising temperatures. Meanwhile, the Rayalaseema area, known for its hot climate, continues to experience higher than average temperatures, further stressing water resources and agricultural activities in the region.

Residents are advised to stay updated on weather warnings and take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to thunderstorms. Authorities are also monitoring the situation closely to manage any potential impacts on local communities and infrastructure.
