Karnataka Government Assures Sufficient Auto LPG Supply Despite Long Queues at Fuel Stations

The government has confirmed that there has been a disruption in the supply chain from private Auto Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) companies. To mitigate this shortfall, major public sector oil companies—Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)—have stepped in to fill the gap.

This supply interruption may have been influenced by various factors, including maintenance activities, logistical challenges, or fluctuations in demand. The government is working closely with the involved agencies to ensure that consumers continue to receive a steady supply of auto LPG without significant delays.

Auto LPG is widely used as a fuel for vehicles due to its lower emissions compared to traditional fuels, and ensuring its continuous availability is crucial for maintaining environmental standards and supporting the transportation sector. The intervention by IOC, BPCL, and HPCL aims to stabilize the situation and reassure consumers of the reliability of their fuel supply. Further updates from the government and the respective companies are anticipated as the situation develops.
