YSRCP Defends Jagans Proposal for Cost-Effective Capital, Calls Him a Mentor

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) spokesperson Sivaprasad Reddy has expressed support for Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddys MAVIGUN proposal, which is aimed at developing an alternative capital to Amaravati. During a recent press briefing, Reddy criticized the opposition parties, specifically the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Congress Party, for their opposition to the proposal.

The MAVIGUN initiative is part of the Andhra Pradesh governments broader plan to decentralize development and provide a more balanced distribution of resources and opportunities throughout the state. Reddy argued that the proposal aims to address the needs of all citizens and promote inclusive growth.

Furthermore, the spokesperson highlighted the governments commitment to transparency and governance, and urged critics to engage constructively rather than oppose developmental initiatives. This proposal comes in the wake of ongoing debates regarding the capitals location and its impact on regional development in Andhra Pradesh.

As discussions continue, it remains to be seen how the opposition parties will respond and what implications this proposal may have on the future infrastructure and economic plans for the state.
