PM Modi Holds Meeting with Vice-President to Mark Tamil New Year

Maha Bishuba Pana Sankranti is celebrated in Odisha, marking the solar new year with rituals and community gatherings. Poila Boishakh, the Bengali New Year, is celebrated with cultural events and traditional foods in West Bengal and among Bengali communities globally. Lastly, Vishu is an important festival in Kerala, symbolizing the arrival of the new harvest and featuring rituals like the Vishu Kani and festive meals.
