Kerala to Engage Geotechnical Experts for National Highway Construction Review
The Public Works Department (PWD) Minister announced that 81% of the 642-kilometer highway project has been completed to date. This initiative is part of a strategic effort to ensure the timely completion of the remaining sections of the highway within the next year.
The project, which is expected to enhance connectivity and support economic growth in the region, has been closely monitored by state officials. As part of the remaining work, officials will focus on the final stretches of the highway, which includes road surfacing, safety installations, and landscaping.
The completion of this project is anticipated to significantly improve transportation efficiency and reduce travel times for both commercial and personal vehicles. The PWD is committed to maintaining quality standards and ensuring that construction progresses without compromising safety. Regular updates on the projects status will be provided to keep the public informed.
