Recent temperature records indicate that only two districts in the region registered maximum temperatures below 42°C. Notably, Hyderabad reported a high of 41.4°C.

This temperature pattern comes amidst a prolonged heatwave affecting several parts of the country, with many regions experiencing temperatures well above the seasonal average. Meteorological experts warn that such extreme heat can lead to adverse effects on public health, agriculture, and water resources.

Authorities are advising residents to take precautions against heat-related illnesses, including staying hydrated and avoiding outdoor activities during peak hours. Moreover, the weather department continues to monitor the situation closely, providing daily updates to the public.
