Officials Encouraged to Enroll Children from Migrant and Fishing Communities in Schools and Hostels

Gandhi Babu, a member of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, conducted an inspection of anganwadi schools and Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in Eluru district. During his visit, he engaged with children, parents, and staff members to assess the current conditions and services provided at these facilities.

The inspection aimed to evaluate the implementation of child rights and ensure that educational and healthcare standards are being met for the local community. Anganwadi centers play a crucial role in early childhood care and development, while PHCs are vital for providing essential health services, including immunizations and maternal health care.

Gandhi Babu’s interactions with stakeholders provided valuable insights into the challenges and needs face by these institutions. The feedback gathered will aid in formulating strategies to improve the quality of services for children and their families in the Eluru district.

The visit underscores the commitment to uphold child rights and enhance the welfare of young people in the region, promoting their health, education, and overall development.
