Naidu Provides ₹5 Lakh Assistance to 35 Construction Workers in Pamarru on May Day, Highlights Welfare Initiatives

In a recent statement, the Chief Minister announced that the State government is allocating over ₹33,000 crore annually to provide pensions for approximately 62.47 lakh beneficiaries. Additionally, the government is investing ₹615 crore to support around 88 lakh unorganised workers through various welfare programs.

This financial commitment underscores the governments focus on enhancing social security measures for vulnerable populations. The pension scheme aims to provide financial stability to retired individuals and those unable to work due to age or health issues. Meanwhile, the welfare initiatives for unorganised workers are designed to improve their livelihoods and working conditions, addressing the needs of a significant portion of the workforce that often lacks access to formal employment benefits.

The Chief Minister emphasized that these allocations are part of the governments broader strategy to promote economic stability and social welfare in the state, reflecting a commitment to support its citizens during challenging times.
