Commercial Flights to Launch at Noida International Airport on June 15

On March 28, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the Noida International Airport, marking a significant milestone for the National Capital Region (NCR). This new airport is expected to enhance connectivity and boost economic growth in the region, which is a vital hub for both national and international travel.

The Noida International Airport, located in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, has been developed to accommodate the growing air traffic demand in the NCR, which includes Delhi and surrounding areas. The facility is planned to have a capacity of over 12 million passengers annually in its first phase, with future expansions aimed at accommodating up to 70 million passengers per year.
