Andhra Pradesh Officials Reassigned in Indian Foreign Service

Revathi, the Chief General Manager of the Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation (APFDC), has been transferred to the position of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Vigilance & Production). This relocation within the forestry administration comes as part of the state government’s periodic reshuffling of key personnel to enhance operational efficiency and governance in forest management.

The position of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests oversees significant areas within the forest department, including the implementation of policies regarding forest conservation, production, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This move is expected to leverage Revathis experience and expertise to address ongoing challenges in forest preservation and resource management in the state.

As the state focuses on improving its forest resources and sustainability practices, the leadership transition aims to bolster the functioning of the forestry sector.
