CBSE Class 12 Results Show Decline in Pass Percentage, Girls Excel Compared to Boys
The national pass percentage for the recent examination is reported at 85.20%. This figure represents a decline of 3.19% compared to last years pass rate of 88.39%. Among the regions, Trivandrum achieved the highest pass rate at 95.62%, distinguishing itself as a leading area in academic performance. Following Trivandrum, Chennai and Bengaluru also recorded impressive pass percentages, showcasing strong educational outcomes in these cities.
This years overall decline in the national pass percentage could be attributed to various factors, including changes in the examination pattern, curriculum adjustments, and varying levels of preparedness among students due to disruptions caused by the pandemic in recent years. Educational authorities are expected to analyze the data further to identify specific areas for improvement and support for students in the future.
