Gagandeep Singh Bedi Appointed Secretary of Municipal Administration Department

P. Amudha has been appointed as the Secretary of the Cooperation, Food, and Consumer Protection Department, as announced by the state government. Amudha, who previously served as Additional Chief Secretary, will be responsible for overseeing key initiatives related to food safety, consumer rights, and cooperative management in the state.

In a separate appointment, G.S. Sameeran has been designated as the new Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation. Sameeran takes on this pivotal role at a time when Chennai is facing various urban challenges, including infrastructure development, waste management, and urban planning.
