DRMs Evaluate Rayagada Control Office in Preparation for New Division Launch on June 1
Waltair Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra and Rayagada Divisional Railway Manager Amitabh Singhal conducted a review of the control office and the temporary facilities that have been established in preparation for the commencement of operations under the new Rayagada Division of the East Coast Railway.
The review is part of a strategic effort to ensure a smooth transition and operational efficiency as the new division prepares to serve its network. The Rayagada Division, which was recently announced, is expected to enhance rail connectivity and improve services in the region, which includes parts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
Both DRM Bohra and DRM Singhal emphasized the importance of proper infrastructure and readiness as they prepare to launch this new division, which aims to better serve the needs of passengers and freight in the area. The new division will play a critical role in the East Coast Railways overarching strategies for capacity building and service enhancement.
