NLCIL Commemorates World Environment Day

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) observed World Environment Day on June 5 with a series of sapling drives and climate awareness initiatives under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”

As part of the celebrations, NLCIL organized events aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and raising awareness about climate change among its employees and the local community. The sapling drives focused on planting native tree species to support local biodiversity and enhance green cover within the region.

In addition to planting initiatives, the company hosted workshops and seminars that addressed climate change impacts, conservation strategies, and the importance of individual contributions towards sustainability. These initiatives align with NLCILs broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
