Inauguration of Women-Led Solar Power Plant in Khammam, Telangana; Project Expected to Generate Monthly Income of ₹4.5 to ₹5 Lakhs

The Telangana government has announced plans to establish solar power plants across all districts in the state, according to Deputy Chief Minister and Power Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. This initiative is part of the governments broader strategy to enhance renewable energy generation and promote sustainable development.

The proposed solar power plants aim to reduce dependence on conventional energy sources, lower electricity costs for consumers, and mitigate the impacts of climate change. Telangana has already made significant investments in renewable energy, and the expansion of solar projects is expected to increase the states clean energy capacity significantly.

As part of this initiative, the government is likely to collaborate with various stakeholders, including private investors and renewable energy firms. The move is aligned with Indias national commitment to increase green energy output and transition to a more sustainable energy model. The timeline and specific locations for the new solar power plants are yet to be finalized.
